Listening to great music that was created through history
As each note falls into place sounding with mystery
Born of a brain that can see new visions unfold
That brings sounds from the minds eye to life
In great magical melodies there to behold
Timeless are the notes that give portals to one’s mind
Causing the imagination to rise as eyes are closed but never blind
As the notes create melodies reaching high in the deep deep blue
That open in cascading palettes of colour in vibrant review
While the peal of the horns brings far vistas into view
As the composer brings to the ears what only the mind has seen
In a creation of new sounds for eternity that never has been
Whenever a perfect note sounds in the magical flow
The heart skips a beat as the chords become aglow
The melodies from the mind raise one’s well being like the music of tides
Ebbing and flowing as the melody allows man to stride
