EDUCATION CREATES MIRACLES
342nd poem published July 5/2026
What was the first miracle
Going way back in time
As thoughts started to form
And the mind began to climb
Maybe it was wonder
As the stars blinked overhead
Or the sun came up
Giving light and ending night’s dread
Man learned a few things
As the brain began to work
Harnessing thought
Bursting free from the past’s blinding murk
Learning new things
With the power of observation
Building with experience from the world around
Using the brain to create original and new action
As the body of knowledge rose
Full fledged in the light
Man had learned new stuff
Seeing diamonds in the rough
The catalyst for miracles
Seems easy to then unfold
As education over millennia
Made knowledge turn to gold
So can it be said as man marches on
The only real wonder was there all along
For education creates miracles
To continue forever and on and on
THE EGO
THE HAIKU POEM OF THE DAY JULY 5, 2026
Brain electrons work
Generating the real mind
Is the ego smart?
