COME BACK OH NORTH WIND

Follow the winds of memory, history, and landscapes as Jack Nanaimo’s poetry guides you through a rhythmic journey of life, reflection, and the world around us.   Because apparently scrolling TIKTOK isn’t enough depth for your soul.

North,
Above the Canadian wild
Flurries ride under the northern lights
Sweeping south

To the tundras and forests
Heavy with ice and frigid might
But a mild wind is blowing from the North now
As icebergs from the Arctic melt

Wildlife is starving in the once frozen North
Now weeping
From Climate’s new found warmth
Weather to the equator

More vengeful
The tingling seasons
No more to live by
Smoke and wildfires

Causing mankind  to cry
Come back oh North Wind
And start to fly
