PASTORS FROM HELL

Follow the winds of memory, history, and landscapes as Jack Nanaimo’s poetry guides you through a rhythmic journey of life, reflection, and the world around us.   Because apparently scrolling TIKTOK isn’t enough depth for your soul.

Did the devil commission some US pastors to rant
To the people of the US in unholy cant
Comparing an elected president to Christ on the cross
Moaning like banshees telling the world who was boss?

Hard to stomach listening to this imbecilic drivel
Pushing false narratives believing real minds will shrivel
Were these pastors molded in hell treating all like scum
Expecting critical thinking to stop thinking we were dumb?

Adventurers sent by hell whoever they may
Religious grifters after power who thunder pontifically
Screaming from golden pulpits to fester dread of a higher power
There in America stoking fear to make citizens cower

Their rhetoric false, as they screech and and shriek
Demanding gold to save all from from hell’s deep creek
Glittering and glowering and clawing as they perch
On the Maga tower of power that sure ain’t no church

From North Of The 49th

If you find yourself questioning where conviction ends and performance begins, the rest of the book keeps pressing on that very line.
