WAR IN UKRAINE

Follow the winds of memory, history, and landscapes as Jack Nanaimo’s poetry guides you through a rhythmic journey of life, reflection, and the world around us.   Because apparently scrolling TIKTOK isn’t enough depth for your soul.

Cracking, cracking, the bullets are flying
Sounds sounds the children are crying
Bombing bombing the buildings are crashing
Standing standing defiant eyes are flashing

Fighting fighting against invading war hordes
Holding holding brittle armies at the gates
Defending defending your cities from thousands
Striding striding with resolve to war madness

Never never halter rights to just lives
Oppose oppose tireless in your strengths
The world the world is behind your resolves
Always always we will give you helplines

Invaders, Invaders, what are your whys
Killing killing other people’s free lives
Where where are you when your army expires
Alone alone on the worlds vast stage

Stop stop the madness of your tremors
Power power will not fly from your borders
Where where will you fit in peoples hearts
When when the war machine halts

Better better we must manage the days
Never never give up on worlds peoples
Create create new vibrant world orders
Life life for all is more than the will of dictators

From North Of The 49th

This one doesn’t step back politely; it drops you amid the firing, the cries, and the unyielding will to protect what matters.
